Erma K. McFarland, age 74, of Caseyville, died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab in Caseyville.

She was born August 10, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Ralph and Neva (Friend) McFarland. Besides her parents, Erma was preceded in death by four siblings: Alma Helen McFarland, Alma (the late Michael) Bradley, Madonna McFarland and Donald McFarland.

Surviving are four siblings: Garland “Gene” (Dorothy) McFarland of Miramonte, CA, Rolland (Mary Sue) McFarland of Troy, IL, Iris “Pauline” (Michael) Schaub of Cahokia and Linda (Michael) Minter of Edwardsville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Erma was a former member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville and was an avid square dancer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
