Barbara A. Stahl, age 90, of Bradenton, Florida, died at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea. She was born November 6, 1923 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of the late C. Clay and Mary L. (McCurdy) Ewell. She married Robert E. Stahl during his World War II military service (Army Air Corps). He preceded her in death in November of 1998.

She is survived by four children: Donald (Elizabeth) Stahl of New Jersey, Nancy (David) Blackburn of Virginia, Lawrence (Pearle) Stahl of Belleville, and Elizabeth (Brick) Cliff of Texas; 14 grandchildren – Regan, Amy, Caryn, Joel, Michael, Danielle, Lawrence Jr, Sara, Benjamin, Josiah, Rachael, Nathan, James, Abigail; and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Stahl; and a sister, Eleanor Teufel.

Mrs. Stahl was a member of the Tabernacle Church in Sarasota, FL. She was a trained musician, accomplished soloist and enjoyed singing at her church.

According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
