Robert A. Wagner, age 89, died at 7:12 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon, IL. He was born November 13, 1925, the son of Benjamin and Mary Ann (Boyer) Wagner. He married Audrey Holle. She preceded him in death in 1980. He is survived by three children: Sandra (Charles) Helmholt of Belleville, Teresa Wagner of Lebanon and Karla Chapin of Barnhart, MO; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Wagner of Mascoutah; and one sister, Pat Wagner of Mishawaka, IN. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one grandchild; and his brothers and sisters: Raymond, Vernon, Donald, Kenneth, Melvin, Ruth and Delores.


According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and interred at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Shiloh, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
