Obituary for Anna Mae Dryden (Coldwell)
Anna Mae Dryden, age 68, of Carlyle, died Sunday, February 12, 2023 at her residence.
She was born December 9, 1954 in Waco, TX, the daughter of the late Walter F. and Catherine M. (Gain) Coldwell. She married William “Bill” Dryden December 9, 1996. He preceded her in death February 11, 2015.
Surviving are six children: Sherri (Emmett) Pendergras of Lincoln, NE, Michael (Chrissy) Trione of Caseyville, IL, Susan (Dan) Drabing of Troy, IL, Ed (Sara) Dryden of Collinsville, IL, Marcy (Jason Oliver) Canini of St. Jacob, IL and William (Amy) Dryden of Greenville, IL; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Sharlene (Ricky) Helton of Troy, IL and Cheryl Orlet of Hecker, IL.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Coldwell.
Mrs. Dryden was a baker and dedicated employee of Casey’s in Breese, where she considered her co-workers and customers to be just like family.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
