Obituary

Beverly J. Hansen, age 81, of Belleville, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 10, 1938 in Mansfield, OH, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Helen (Hughett) Talbott. She is survived by her husband of over sixty years, William Hansen.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Elise (Donald) Clark of Ft. Worth, TX, Carrie Hansen of Belleville and Richard (Katherin) Hansen of Belleville; four grandchildren: Cassie Clark of Ft. Worth, TX, Taylor Hansen of Edwardsville, Kathryn Hansen of Chicago and Madeline Hansen of Belleville; one brother, Charles (Becky) Talbott of Galion, OH; one sister, Jayne (Doug) Hunt of Galion, OH; and a daughter-in-law, Patricia Hansen of Maryville, IL. She is also survived by three aunts, two uncles, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Hansen; and a brother, Edward Talbott.

Beverly worked as a waitress at Hazel and Betty’s Restaurant, and also Bob and Jerry’s, which was in the old Shop ‘n Save in Belleville. She was quick-witted with a kind heart. She brought so much joy to those around her and was a caring daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandma.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
