Obituary for Bryan Lane Schieber
Bryan L. Schieber passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on July 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tammy Schieber of Edwardsville, IL; son, Jeremy Schieber of Edwardsville, IL, daughter Jenna Schieber (fiancé Craig) of Glen Carbon, IL; his three grandchildren Charley, Liam, and Riley; his father, Robert Schieber of Cypress, TX, sister, Marci Walker of Cypress, TX, and brother Mike Schieber of Chicago, IL and extended family. Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, L. Jeannette Schieber and niece, Gabrielle Seaman.
Bryan enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved being a grandpa (Papa). While he had health issues over the last few years, he cherished the pleasure his grandchildren brought to his life. He was especially grateful for time with his newest granddaughter Charley (Papa’s Little Angel).
Music was always a big part of Bryan’s life, and he liked going to shows, playing guitar, and sharing his love of music with others. In 1984, Bryan went to work for a company outside of San Francisco where he discovered Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and his passion for craft beers. He was always hunting for new beers and breweries. Bryan traveled for both work and pleasure, which allowed him to pursue his interest in beer and music.
