Obituary for Carl W. Sidwell
Carl W. Sidwell, age 82, of Vandalia, IL, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1939 in Brownstown, IL, the son of the late Virgil and Bonnie (Grandfield) Sidwell.
He is survived by two children: Carla (Phillip) Sapp of Vandalia and Ricky Sidwell of Ramsey, IL; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren: two sisters: Iris Merritt of Greenville and Carol Barnick of Brownstown; five nieces and one nephew.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Waller, III; and a great-grandson, Easton Grigg.
Burial of his cremated remains will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to Forbus Cemetery , c/o Russell Sidwell, 1332 East 2075 Ave., Brownstown, IL 62418.
