Carolyn James, age 79, of Maryville, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehab in Edwardsville. She was born Jannuary 10, 1938 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Antone and Hazel (Eagen) Averbeck. She married Larry James February 25, 1957. He survives. Also surviving are four children: Delano (Susan) James, John James, Laura Sisson and Nathan James; two grandchildren: Justin and Josh Sisson; and one brother, David Averbeck.
Mrs. James was a welding inspector with American Steel.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
