Obituary for Charlotte A. Geier (Sevier)
Charlotte A. Geier, age 81, of Granite City, IL, died at 4:28 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Granite City.
She was born March 10, 1942 in Baton Rouge, LA, the daughter of the late Stanley and Annie Mae( Cooper) Sevier. She married Dennis R. Geier March 28, 1965. He preceded her in death January 5, 2011.
Also surviving are 1 daughter, Denise (Will) Abbott of Granite City; 1 son, Chris (Sara) Geier of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren: Leah Rose Geier, Carter Ray Geier, Ella Claire Geier, Nolan Jeffrey Geier, Ashley Nicole Abbott, Alyssa Paige Abbott, Maddox Geier, Ty Geier and Anna Grace Geier; one great-grandchild, Finley Joseph Bonvicino; and two sisters: Joy Sevier of Georgia and Shirley Holstein of Louisianna.
Mrs. Geier was a member of the Oak Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church in Caseyville.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at Oakhill Seventh Day Adventist Church 7864 North Illinois Street. Caseyville, IL Thursday, July 20th at 6 pm.
