Obituary for Cheryl D. Peters (Byxbe)
Cheryl D. Peters, age 71, of Mascoutah, IL died at 5:46 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born August 29, 1949 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Earl J. and Mary L. (Short) Byxbe. She was a graduate of Granite City High School (Class of '67). She married Homer D. Peters, Jr on August 28, 1975. He survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four children: Kim (Jeff) Rednour of Marion, IL, Todd Peters of Mascoutah, IL, Meredith (Sean Crader) Peters of O’Fallon, IL, and Trevor Peters of Mascoutah, IL; and one grandchild, Max Wyatt.
Cheryl had a career in childcare services, serving as the director of childcare centers in both Mascoutah and Belleville, IL.
