Obituary for Connie J. Willeford (Cartwright)
Connie J. Willeford, age 66, of Alhambra, died at 9:32 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1956 in Highland, the daughter of the late Edward and Verla (Wilkening) Cartwright. She married Larry Willeford August 14, 1998. He preceded her in death May 20, 2018.
Surviving are two daughters: Amanda (Jeff) Cartwright and Crystal (Virgil) Smith, both of Greenville; two step-sons: Larry (Christina) Willeford of Sorento, IL and John (Robin) Willeford of Wilsonville, IL; nine grandchildren: Dylan (Tabitha) Cartwright, Taylor Smith, Hailey Cartwright, Aidan Cartwright, Jensen Cartwright, Chase Willeford, Cody Willeford, Dayan Willeford and Nathan Willeford; one great-grandchild, Addilyn Genenbacher; five siblings: Ronnie (Sue) Cartwright of Hamel, William (Ginger) Cartwright of Mt. Olive, Catherine (the late Dan) Jett of Alhambra, Joann (the late Kenny) Wannamaker of Staunton and Roger (Sue) Cartwright of Eagarville, IL.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two siblings: Mary Henke and Raymond Cartwright.
Connie drove a school bus for the Highland school district for over twenty years.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
