Darla K. Lehman, age 50, of Pinckneyville, IL, formerly of New Athens, died at 9:41 a.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. She was born January 27, 1963 in East St. Louis, the daughter of the late Thomas E. Gabriel, Sr. and Martha K. (Ferrel) Gabriel. She is survived by four children: Jay Roach of California, Gina Lehman (and her significant other Debbie Peyman) of O'Fallon, James Wardwell of Caseyville and Brian Roach of Marion; three grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters: Thomas E. Gabriel, Jr. of Lenzburg, Lorraine Coke of Marissa, Mark Gabriel of Tilden, Chris Wells of Red Bud, Fay Blakey of O'Fallon, Bruce Gabriel of St. Louis, May Bateman of Caseyville and Tammy Gabriel of Michigan. She is also survived by her niece, caregiver and best friend, Nickie Robertson; and her special friend Everett "Skinny" Sakosko of Marion.

Darla enjoyed singing and was an avid fan of Patsy Kline and Dolly Parton.

Private family services will be held.
