Obituary for Dave M. McCrary
Dave M. McCrary, age 88, of Marissa, died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at his residence.
He was born November 17, 1933 in Pinckneyville, IL, the son of the late Alexander and Edith (Preston) McCrary. He married Mary Reeb March 28, 1959. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, Terry (Jennifer) McCrary of Pinckneyville; a granddaughter, Taran McCrary Pinnell of Matton, IL; and a great-granddaughter, Bethany Pinnell.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John David McCrary; a grandson, Alex McCrary; and two siblings: Roberta Schneider Hutching and William McCrary.
Mr. McCrary was a coal miner for Peabody Coal Company.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
