Obituary for David E. George
David E. George, age 88, of O’Fallon, IL, died at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Memorial East Hospital in Shiloh.
He was born September 9, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late David W. and Dorothy (Eisner) George. He married Janie D. Lynn. She preceded her in death December 3, 2020.
David is survived by four children: James George of Belleville, Cheri (friend Steve Gardner) McLaughlin of Newton, IA, Corey (Stephanie) George of Fairview Heights and Melissa George of Carbondale, IL; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two step-sons: Mark Mason and Mike Mason.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian George; and three brothers: Richard George, Kenny George and Bobby Jo Eisner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
