Obituary for DeVeau H. Oliver (Hughes)

DeVeau H. Oliver, age 88, of O'Fallon, formerly of Oblong, IL, died at 5:17 a.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center in Lebanon. She was born June 27, 1929 in Carmi, Illinois, the daughter of the late Cyril Hughes and Lovean Slow. She married Jack Oliver. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by one son, Stephen (Lynda) Oliver of O'Fallon; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children: Mark H. Oliver and Lynn Ritchie.

Mrs. Oliver was a member of the United Methodist Church in Oblong, Illinois. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Oblong, Illinois.
