Obituary for Doris Mae Grass (Turner)
Doris Mae Grass, age 79, of Red Bud, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL.
She was born April 26, 1940 in DuQuoin, IL, the daughter of the late George and Irene (Biernacki) Turner.
Besides her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol Moulden and Georgia Wiggins.
She is survived by one son, Robert (Linda) Grass of Caseyville; two grandchildren: Samantha (Phillip) Stephan of Red Bud and Kayla Grass of Caseyville; one great-grandchild, Landon Stephan; and two siblings: Darlene (John) Waller of Granite City and Thomas (Jerry) Turner of Glen Carbon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chapel in Belleville. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
