Obituary for Doris B. "Dot" Payne (Barton)
Doris B. “Dot” Payne, age 89, of Alhambra, IL, died at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Alhambra Care Center in Alhambra.
She was born July 29, 1929 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Welker and Mabel (Soucy) Barton. She married Clarence “Bud” Payne. He preceded her in death.
Dot is survived by a son, Jordan (Sharon) Payne of Alhambra; one grandson, Derik Payne; two great-grandchildren: Coltin and Hayden; and a sister, Jane George.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and will be interred with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
