Obituary for Edward H. "Junior" Wolters Jr.
Edward H. “Junior” Wolters Jr, of Albers, IL, age 65, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday February 21, 2023, at 6:25 pm.
Junior was born September 7, 1957 in Belleville, IL to Jeanne (Peltes) and Edward Wolters, Sr.
His career as a truck driver spanned many years and allowed him to visit much of the United States. He spent his time off with family and friends busy with various activities including visiting Carlyle Lake, grilling, bingo, going to clubhouse, riding 4 wheelers, and cutting grass.
Junior was preceded in death by his father, Edward H Wolters, Sr., mother, Jeanne Wolters; brother, James Wolters; and sisters: Shirley (Michael) Hoerchler and Mary Jo (Raymond) Massey.
He is survived by his sisters Diane Wolters of Albers, IL and Tammy (Daniel) Enfield of Florida; nieces/nephews Christy (Leon), Kimberly (Rich), Jason, Sherri (Brandon), Shelly, Jason (Lindsey), Brad (Sarah), Chris (Jen), Jimmy (Aubrey) and Ashley (Jake); great nieces/nephews: Melissa, (Robert), Shala (Stu), Kevin (Kala), Emily, Ethan, Dylan, Ryan, Tyler, Emily, Jake, Ellie, Liam.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023 and from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers. Burial of his cremated remains will follow in the church cemetery.
