Everett A. Rossy, Sr. age 101, of O'Fallon, died at 2:38 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. He was born January 1, 1913 in East St. Louis, son of the late Everett and Laura (Losey) Rossy. He married Elaine Hopkins. She preceded him in death. He later married Mary Stewart. She also preceded him in death. He is survived by three children: Everett A. (Nancy) Rossy, Jr., of Fairview Heights, Laura Canady of O'Fallon and Michael A. (Sue) Rossy of California; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Sue Rossy; and a granddaughter, Theresa Booker.

Mr. Rossy was a self-employed auto body painter. According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
