Gelen Gwynne, born August 29, 1957 in Chicago, daughter of the late Virden “Bud” and Helen (Katsetos Gwynne, passed away August 30, 2018 at her residence in Staunton.

Besides her parents, Gelen was preceded in death by two children: Adam R. Smith and Angela M. McManus.

Surviving are her daughter, Alyssa Gwynne of Staunton; five grandchildren: Dominic A. Cuevas, Makenzie M. Rexford, Kaden I. McManus, Peighton Francis McManus and Aila Bell McManus; her boyfriend, Stephen D. Syniski of Livingston; and two siblings: Gwendolyn “Gigi” Kittredge and Jack Gwynne.

Services will be held at a later date.
