Obituary for Irma A. Robards (Loehring)
Irma A. Robards, age 89, of Highland, died at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Faith Countryside Manor in Highland. She was born March 18, 1930 in St. Jacob, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Orlandorf) Loehring.
Besides her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Robards; one son, Roger Robards; and two brothers: Eldon and Elbert Loehring.
She is survived by one son, Thomas (Lynn) Robards of Highland; eight grandchildren: Misty (Royce) Duncan of New Baden, Jamie (Sheila) Robards of California, William Robards of Missouri, Robert Robards of Missouri, Casey (Tony) Robards Patterson of Alma, MI, Jackie (Dave) Hinrichsen of Colfax, IL, Ty Robards of Sierra Vista, CA and Chris (Jessica) Robards of Highland; and eight great-grandchildren: Timothy Wheat of New Baden, Christopher Wheat of Springfield, IL, Jordan Wheat of New Baden, Reid and Brooke Hinrichsen of Colfax, IL, and Micah, Joel and Ezra Robards of Highland.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and buried next to her husband in Keystone Cemetery in St. Jacob.
