Obituary for Jamie L. Lynch (Anderson)
Jamie Lou Lynch, age 95, of Edwardsville, died at 11:34 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence.
She was born January 19, 1927 in Deloit, IA, the daughter of the late James L. and Kathryn (Vennick) Anderson. She married Robert S. Lynch on November 11,1947 in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death November 24, 2000.
Surviving are three children: Robert Sonny of Hutchinson,KS, James Leroy and Janet Kay Lynch, both of Edwardsville, IL; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother.
Mrs. Lynch was a retired real estate sales person, having been associated with Schlemer Realty and Century 21 Metcalf agency from 1973 to 1993. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a former member of the Business and Professional Women and served as a Republican judge for several years. When her children were at home she was active in the Boy and Girl Scouts.
According to her wishes, her remains were cremated. Graveside services and burial will eventually be at the Eldon Cemetery in Eldon, Iowa.
