Obituary for Janie D. George (Lynn)
Janie D. George, age 78, of O’Fallon, IL, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 14, 1942 in Kennett, MO, the daughter of the late Hubert and Gertrude (Tomlinson) Lynn. She married David George. He survives.
Also surviving are two children: Mark (Robin) Mason of Belleville and Michael Mason of Fairview Heights; four grandchildren: Stephanie Mason, Jordan Mason, Austin Mason and Alan Mason; two great-grandchildren: Bailey and Mason; and her siblings: Johnny (JoEllen) Lynn of Belleville, Beth (Bob) Prokopf of Collinsville, Richard (Susan) Lynn of O’Fallon and Nancy (Randy) Blevins of Medina, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lynn.
No services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society.
