Jean A. Taylor, age 70, of Shiloh, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg. She was born October 8, 1945 in East St. Louis, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Asbury) Emmerich. She is survived by six brothers and sisters: Angela (Patrick) Simonds of Houston, TX, John (Vicky) Emmerich, Jr. of Carlyle, IL, James Emmerich of West Virginia, Thomas (Sheri) Emmerich of Pawnee, IL, Patrick (Kim) Emmerich of Shiloh and Joe Emmerich of O'Fallon. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Jacqueline Curtis and Mary Carrigan; and two sisters-in-law: Barbara Emmerich and Debbie Emmerich.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and interred at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Shiloh at a later date.
