Obituary for Jeanne M. Warren (Tuck)
Jeanne Warren, age 93, of Harrisburg, IL died Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
She was born September 10th, 1929 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Chester and Gladys Tuck.
Jeanne attended Michigan State University where she met her future husband, Malcom Warren, whom she married September 16, 1949.
Jeanne’s passion was antiques. She collected glassware and furniture. She won national and state awards for counted cross stitch. She had membership in the local antique club, Daughters of the American Revolution, homemakers club and garden club. She spent many years as a Girl Scout leader. Jeanne also loved family. She loved spending holidays and traveling with family every chance she could. If she couldn’t, she would never forget to reach out to them and let them know she was thinking of them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Jeanne was survived by her five children Malcom Warren, Kathleen (Richard) Warren, Susan Warren, Robin Warren and William (Lynn) Warren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Malcom Warren and siblings: Dorothy Tuck, Katherine (Kit) Mier, William Tuck, Mariam Koebnick and Ethal Monacelli.
Jeanne’s remains will be interred at Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery, Allentown NJ. A celebration of life will occur in Harrisburg, IL at a later date.
