Obituary for Joel T. Walker
Joel T. Walker, age 74, of O’Fallon, IL, departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon.
Mrs. Walker was born November 14, 1944 in Ocala, FL, to the union of Willie Joe and Rachel (Wilson) Walker in Ocala, Florida. Joel T. Walker was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry (Alice) Walker; and two sisters: Susie Walker and Victoria “Vickie” (Charles) Bush.
She is survived by two children: Dawn Walker of O’Fallon and Damion (Arnesha) Walker of Collinsville; one grandchild, Diamond Walker; two brothers: Vernon Walker of Tallahassee, FL and Ernest Walker of East St. Louis, IL; a sister, Theresa Jackson of Centreville, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Walker dedicated her life to Jehovah God at an early age. Ms. Walker remained a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for 41 years until her passing. She was a great cook and had a great love for gardening, as evidenced by her many plants. Ms. Walker will be truly missed.

A private graveside service will be held at O’Fallon City Cemetery.
