Johanna “Sue” Scott (nee Wimmer), age 83, of New Baden, died at 7:11 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 1, 1935 in Vienna, Austria. She married Teddy Gene Scott July 6, 1956 in Basel, Switzerland. He preceded her in death January 30, 2013.

She is survived by her three children: Mike (Michele) Scott of Belleville, IL, Tom (DeeAnne) Scott of Troy, IL and Michele (Vance) Sanders of Ballwin, MO; her grandchildren: Jeremy (Michelle) Scott, Jennifer (Nicholas) Riley, Jordyn Scott, Courtney Scott and Ryan Scott; great-grandchildren: Gavin and Addison Scott, Layna Kapp, Hayden Scott, Kylee Moss and Kolten Scott; and one sister, Eve Taylor.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, Johann and Katharina (Briener) Wimmer; a sister, Wilma Jelinek; her brothers-in-law: Harold Scott, Harrison Scott, Clyde (Eldo) Scott, Don Scott, Cecil Taylor and Robert Miller; and five sisters-in-law: Doris Scott, Gladys Scott, Leota Scott, Wanda Scott and Alice Miller.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Kalmer Memorial Services, located on Rt. 50 between Lebanon and O’Fallon. Burial of her cremated remains will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL at 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018.
