Obituary for John David Lamb
John David Lamb, age 74, of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon. He was born March 7, 1945 in Highland, Illinois, the son of the late George P. and Doris D. (Houston) Lamb.
He is survived by his wife, Y.C. “Rusty” (Morgan) Lamb; seven children: Denise Sudduth of Kansas City, Missouri, Bernadette Bierman of Pana, Illinois, Dawn Griffith of Decatur, Illinois, Lawrence Simpson of Vera, Illinois, Jennifer (Chris) Jondro of Mulberry Grove, John “Jack” Houston Lamb of Springfield, Illinois and Julie (Pat) Green of Vandalia, Illinois; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, George (Emily) Lamb of Ripley, West Virginia.
Mr. Lamb was a US Air Force veteran, built scaffolding and was a farmer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
