Obituary for John G. Williams
John G. Williams, age 84, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, July 4, 2021 at his residence.
He was born February 3, 1937 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Harlen and Marjorie (Milligan) Williams. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are his wife Patsy (Stumpf) Williams; his children: Johnny M. Williams of Fayetteville, Shirley (Doug) Missey of Christmas, FL, Cindy Pigg of Hillsboro, MO, Timothy (Mary) Blaylock and Tina (Terry) Laird, both of Wichita, KS; two brothers: Charles (Terry) Phillips of Seattle, WA and Charles (Linda) Williams of Evansville, IN; four sisters: Barb Totty of Collinsville, IL, Janice Jackson of Carlyle, IL, Betty Blanco of Waterloo, IL and Sandy Butler of Maryville, IL; dear grandpa, great-grandpa and great great-grandpa.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 620 Donaphan, Macoutah, IL.
