Obituary for Joseph C. Koreck
Joseph C. Koreck, age 77, of Highland, IL, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Highland Healthcare Center in Highland.
He was born August 12, 1941 in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Koreck. He married Nicole Paul December 26, 2009. She survives.
Also surviving are two children: Debra (John) Hauge of Mt. Zion, IL and Steven (Mary) Koreck of Detroit, MI; three step-children: Deanna (David) Hunt of Beauford, NC, Kimberly (Luis) Ostrander of Merritt Island, FL and Amy Stevens of Caseyville, IL; four grandchildren: Lauren and Natalie Hauge and Andrew and Liam Koreck; nine step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Alison.
Mr. Koreck was a chemist and was employed by ALCOA.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated.
