Obituary for Kimberly S. Reno (Gale)
Kimberly Reno, age 59, of Belleville, died Friday, September 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
She was born August 25, 1963 in Belleville, the daughter of the late Edward and Juanita (Parriott) Gale. She married Lawrence Reno October 6, 1990. He survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children: Kelli S. (Adam) Sylvia of Edwardsville, Lindsey (John Ponder) Reno of Tacoma, WA and Jeffrey Hartmann of Belleville; four grandchildren: Johnathon Burklow, Lorelai Burklow, Lola Hartmann and Edward Sylvia; five siblings: Liz (Dale) Ballard of Belleville, Sandy (Chip) Kelly of Smithton, Mary (Kelly) Ranger of Virginia, Billy Gale of Belleville and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Gale of Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Kimberly worked as a nurse’s aide for many years at the Belleville Memorial Convalescent Center. She could always be found in her butterfly room sewing her latest projects (t-shirt quilts or bowl holders), in her kitchen cooking up a storm or sitting around a bonfire in the backyard bragging about her children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be Saturday September 10th at Redemption Community Church, 1897 Mascoutah Ave, Belleville, IL 62220
