Marilyn L. Haney, age 82, of Trenton, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. She was born November 15, 1935 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of the late Herschel A. and Elsie (Spitzner) Tenney.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Tenney.

Surviving is one son, David Haney of Trenton.

Mrs. Haney retired from Scott Air Force Base as an accountant. After her retirement, she worked at Wal Mart in Highland. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and enjoyed reading and playing solitaire on the computer.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 21 N. Walnut St., Trenton, IL. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the church.
