Obituary for Mary L. Hoffman (Healy)
Mary L. Hoffman, age 82, of Troy, IL, died at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
She was born October 5, 1938 in Saline County, IL, the daughter of the late Raymond and Flora (Edwards) Healy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hoffman; a grandchild, Timothy Milkovich; and three siblings: James T. Healy, Oral R. Healy and Leota Humm.
Surviving are three children: Regina “Gina” (Jamie) Wilkinson of Glen Carbon, Julie Clayton of Edwardsville and Cary Clayton of Worden; seven grandchildren: John (Nicole) Ottwein, Adam (Jessica) Ottwein, Tyler Ottwein, Crystal Milkovich, Christina (Steve) Mueller, Jenna Clayton (fiance Logan Scheiter), Gage Clayton;
and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hoffman was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and was an avid bowler.
Graveside services for Mary will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, 610 Mitchellsville Rd, Harrisburg, IL, 62946.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
