Obituary for Maryjo Giffhorn (Krauss)
Maryjo Giffhorn, age 79, of Belleville, Illinois died Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Bria Healthcare of Mascoutah.
Maryjo was born February 1, 1943, to Joseph and Mildred (Dammerich) Krauss.
She is survived by her four children: Susan Depper (Shane Naue) of Dayton, OH, Mark Giffhorn (Melinda) of Belleville, IL, Julie Fentzel (Tim) of O’Fallon, IL and Laura Coughlin (Paul) of Golconda, IL; her nine grandchildren: Jennifer Taylor, Melissa Meyer (Scott), Andrew Depper (Maddie), Amanda Heintzelman (Zach), Cierra Giffhorn (Seth), Jennifer Frentzel, Emily Frentzel, Jordan Buettcher and Dawson Coughlin; and her eight great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, 1910 W. Belle St. in Belleville. The Rev. William McGhee, pastor, will preside.
