Michael Stephen Stilwell
Michael Stephen Stilwell, 67, passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side at his home at 10:47 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was born June 9, 1949 in Alton, IL the son of the late Paul J. and Adeline M. (Wilkening) Stilwell. He served in the army where he was an expert rifleman and he retired in 2008 as a master mechanic with Albrecht-Hamlin. He was a member of the Tri-County Rod and Gun Club for many years and also served on the board of directors. On September 21, 2013 in Brighton he married Amanda (Goon) and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter; Jane Stilwell (Jake Igo) of Alton and two sons; Evan Stilwell of Alton and Colton Leber of Brighton, one grandchild, Althea Igo of Alton, and one brother, Richard P. Stilwell (Helen) of Mt. Olive.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the family.
