Obituary for Myrah Ann Marks (Piarulli)
Myrah Ann Marks, age 75, of Glen Carbon, passed away at 12:16 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born August 12, 1943 in Alton, the daughter of the late Frank and Lauretta (Luksan) Piarulli. She married Harold “Hal” Marks June 18, 1966. He survives.
Besides her husband, Myrah is survived by two children: Paul (Suzanne) Marks of Glen Carbon and Lori Williams of Philadelphia, PA; and three grandchildren: Maxwell Moehle, Olivia Marks and Luke Marks.
Myrah was a floral designer, active in the Edwardsville Garden Club, a multi-year winner at “Art In Bloom”, and in other flower shows in the St. Louis metro area. She previously managed “Kid Town” on Main St. in Edwardsville in the 1970’s – 80’s.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville. The funeral mass will immediately follow the visitation. Burial will be in Buck Road Cemetery in Collinsville Township.
