Richard A. Isenberg, age 76, of Trenton, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville. He was born May 30, 1941 in Bunker Hill, Illinois, the son of the late Arthur and Iola (Wehling) Isenberg.

Mr. Isenberg is survived by a son, Chad Isenberg of Trenton; his former wife and dear friend, Gerri (Buehler) Isenberg of Carlyle; and one brother, Laverne Isenberg of Webster Groves, MO. He was preceded in death by two siblings: Ruth Isenberg and Darrel Isenberg.

Richard retired from Carlyle High School as a teacher and Guidance Counselor. He also taught psychology courses for Kaskaskia College.

According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated. A private Memorial Gathering will be held.
