Robert H. Hess, age 69, of Shiloh, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton MO. He was born April 16, 1947 in Canton, OH, the son of the late Clair and Elizabeth (Fell) Hess.

Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Hess and his father-in-law, Ronald Potts, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela, whom he married October 24, 1980 in Lebanon; his children: Brandon (fiance Margaret "Niki") Hess, of Belleville, and Kyle (Alyscia) Hess of Coulterville, IL; two grandchildren: Hayley Hess and Jaymes Hess; one brother, Donald (Pat) Hess of Kansas; one sister, Donna Carter of Collinsville; his mother-in-law, Margaret Potts of Lebanon; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Potts, Jr. of Shiloh.


A Memorial Gathering will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Kalmer Memorial Services in Lebanon, IL.
