Ruth M. Becker, age 91, of Swansea, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2018, at Sycamore Village in Swansea. She was born August 4, 1926 in Golden, CO, the daughter of the late Walter and Wilna (Jewell) Warren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: David Becker and Gordon Becker.

She is survivied by three children: Keith (Wendy) Becker of Oregon, Joyce (Antone) Gatherum of Oregon and Patricia (the late Harold) Gotsch of Swansea; 19 grandchildren; 64 great-grand children, 11 great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Dabbs of Tampa, FL.

Mrs. Becker was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a switchboard operator for the Burlington Northern Rail Road.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, February 8 and from 10-11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Siants, 255 Fairwood Hills Dr., O’Fallon, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the church with Bishop Randy Walker officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, NE. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
