Sheila Thigpen, age 63, of East St. Louis, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Elasko and Sadie (Ward) Thigpen. She is survived by two children: Latishue Thigpen of East St. Louis and Michael Thigpen of Fairview Heights; five grandchildren: Jamesia, Antwon, Jr., Maya, Michael, II, and Leslie; and three siblings: Pierre Thigpen of Los Angelas, CA, Sharon Hillman of Cahokia, and Denice Thigpen-Webb of Belleville.
