Obituary for Sheryl A. Ariana (Sykes)
Sheryl Ann (Sykes) Ariana, aka Na-Na to her grandchildren, age 68, of Edwardsville, formerly of Granite City, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville.
She was born February 19, 1952 in Granite City, the daughter of the late Orville and Laura (Sternberg) Sykes.
Surviving are three sons: Jason Ariana of Troy, Illinois, Matthew and wife Michelle Ariana of Granite City, Illinois, Joshua and wife Stacey Ariana of Edwardsville, Illinois; seven grandchildren Evan, Kaylin, Trinity, Dylan, Tristan, Adyson, and Tamryn. one great grandchild Scarlett and one sister, Wanda Jackson of Granite City, Illinois.
Sheryl was a sales associate for Wal Mart along with a loving mother who raised her boys at home.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 2558 Madison Ave, Granite City, Illinois 62040 from 3-7 p.m. Donations can be made in honor of Sheryl to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
