Obituary for Susan Biggins (Johnson)
Susan Biggins, age 80, of Highland, died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon.
She was born October 22, 1938, the daughter of the late James and Pauline (Walker) Johnson. She married William Patrick Biggins. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Biggins is survived by her children: Tim (Leanne) Biggins of Florida, John (Wendy Biggins of New Baden, IL, Tony Shellito of Highland, Cherry Goode of North Carolina, Kim Biggins of Mt. Carmel, IL and Brandy Nitchman of Highland; ten grandchildren: Shawn Goode, Shayla Goode, Jonathan Biggins, Cody Biggins, Carey Wessel, Savannah Biggins, Sherion Biggins, Tony Shellito, Shane Biggins, Lucian Biggins and Liam Biggins; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dog, Lucky.
Susan worked in her home as a childcare provider. She was a loving mother to her children as well as a foster mother. She lit up a room with her smile, loved spending time with her family and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
