He’s survived by his wife and two sons: Evan Hulsker (Briana) Frey of Gilbert, AZ and Elliot Lee (Meredith) Frey of Ladue, MO; four grandchildren: Cal Frey, Liv Frey, Louie Frey and Norah Frey; four siblings: Wayne (Sue) Giles of Kansas City, MO, Ron (Lisa) Frey of Troy, IL, Keith (Sue) Frey of Troy, IL and Larry (Jeanne) Frey of Edwardsville, IL; his mother-in-law, Helen June Hulsker of Edwardsville; and two sisters-in-law: Linda (Michael) Yates of Marine, IL, and Cindy (Don) Iberg of Marine.

Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Lloyd B. Hulsker, Jr.

Terry graduated from Triad High School in 1977 where he met his high school sweetheart, Lesia, to whom he was married for 40 years. After attending Technical School, he embarked on a 43-year career in Information Technology Consulting – most notably for BJC Healthcare, Anheuser-Busch, and US Bank, from which he retired in December of 2021.

He was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather whom loved being surrounded by family. Terry shared a love for America’s pastime – Baseball. His fondest memories were at the ball field, whether it be coaching his sons' youth teams, family trips to various MLB Stadiums or attending their games throughout their high school, collegiate and professional years – he was his sons' #1 fan.

Terry’s other passions included traveling with family and friends. He was a devout Christian and enjoyed volunteering at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Whether he was traveling in Paris, or spending time out in the yard, if Terry was surrounded by family and friends, he was his happiest; a family-man at heart.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Terry’s visitation on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4 – 8 pm at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the church with Rev. Jeffrey Goeckner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery in Edwardsville.

Memorial donations can be made to the Edwardsville High School Baseball Program or St. Boniface Catholic Church, and will be accepted at the visitation and funeral, or mailed to Kalmer Memorial Services, PO Box 254, Lebanon, IL 62254.
