Theresa L. Lexa, age 46, of Belleville, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 4, 1966 in East St. Louis, the daughter of Ruth (Toon) Lexa of Belleville and the late Terrance Lexa, Sr. Besides her mother, she is survived by a son, Derrick Lexa-Lopez of Belleville; two brothers: Terrance Lexa, Jr. (fiance Lisa Kadous) of Belleville, and Roy Lexa (fiance Tracy Martin) of O'Fallon; and her beloved dogs, Gizmo and Spud. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Anna and Joseph E. Toon; her paternal grandparents, Howard and Marcella Lexa; and her great-grandparents: Bessie Tuma and Alma and Kelvy Toon.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Kalmer Memorial Services in Lebanon. A memorial service will immediately follow at Kalmer Memorial Service. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Assn or to the family.
