Obituary for Tony R. Vaughn
Tony R. Vaughn, age 79, of Troy, IL, died Friday, October 28, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born August 24, 1943 in Pocahontas, IL, the son of the late Clarence and Pearl (Motzer) Vaughn.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Vaughn; and five siblings: Gene Vaughn, David Vaughn, Betty Tischhauser, Dolly Licus, and Frances Ulmer.
Surviving is a son, Robert Vaughn; daughter-in-law: Lindsey Vaughn; grandson: Riley Vaughn: sister and brother-in-law Judy (Larry) Hooton.
Tony was a motor coach operator, traveling to long distances throughout the United States during his working years. He loved Traveling, Camping, Fishing and anything outdoor. He was very devoted to his family. His grandson Riley was the light of his life. He was known to be loving, caring, and energetic with his family being most important to him in his life.
