Obituary for Weston Finks
E. Weston Finks, age 47, of Marissa IL, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Weston was born September 10, 1974 in Belleville, the son of the late Edward Finks and Linda (Hughes) Finks of Marissa.
Surviving family are his Mother; one sister, Lisa (Ted) Kacimierczuk of Lemont, IL; three children, Lacy Finks of Tinley Park, IL, Caden (Katie Witherby) Finks, and Lillian Finks of Marissa; one nephew, Avery Peterson of Lemont, IL; and the mother of his children, Krystal (Krzyzanoski) Finks of Marissa, IL.
In addition to the surviving family, Weston leaves behind the love of his life, Sandra Siler, of Clarmin, IL and his four-legged children Marshal and Jackson, who comforted and cared for him during this difficult battle with pancreatic cancer, and many cherished friends.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a very dear friend Travis Bollmeier and Ace his best four legged friend.
Weston graduated from Marissa High School in 1992. He worked as a machine operator. Weston was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed to banter with Cardinal fans. He enjoyed playing darts and pool, often participating at a professional level. Weston loved his family and his four-legged friends dearly. He was a good and true friend to many.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and interred in a private family service. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Clarmin 1st Baptist Church, 192 Bryon Street, Marissa, IL with visitation from 9am-11am. Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
