Obituary for William P. Borders Jr.
William P. Borders, Jr., age 61, of Belleville, died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
He was born May 4, 1960 in East St. Louis, IL, the osn of the late William P. and Judith E. (O’Leary) Borders, Sr.
Surviving is a daughter, Taylor Steele of Effingham, IL; two step-children: Kendra Berry and Brandon Wilson; and his former wife, Wendy Berry of Lenzburg, IL.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Borders.
Bill was a talented musician, playing guitar for various groups around the area. His most recent band was Backwoods. Music was his joy, as was sharing it with his family and friends.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and there will be no services.
