William C. “Cole” Kalicki, age 60, of Collinsville, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 28, 1957 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late William H. and Patricia A. (Yingst) Kalicki. He married Barbara Kratche October 11, 2008. She survives.

Also surviving are two children: Kathryn N. Kalicki of Round Rock, TX and Gina M. Kalicki of San Antonio, TX; one grandchild, McKenzie Cole Smith; and three sisters: Michelle P. Lee of Lesterville, MO, Kimberle A. Shay of Belleville, IL and Victoria S. Kalicki of Maryville, IL.

Cole loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at the family cabin. You could often find him grilling steaks, making a bon-fire, or orchestrating some other kind of adventure that some might describe as less than safety conscious. He had fun in this life and he made sure his loved ones were having fun too.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
