Obituary for Kerry D. Lewis

Kerry D.  Lewis
Kerry D. Lewis, age 62, of Freeburg, died at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Belleville Memorial Hospital. He was born August 6, 1951, the son of the late Devern and Mary (Raper) Lewis. He is survived by five children: Angie (Bill) Luchesi of Troy, IL, Marshall Lewis of Jerseyville, IL, Paul (Missy) Lewis of Dow, IL, Kathleen (Jeff) Brannan of Kane, IL, and E. Robert Lewis of Rockford, IL; ten grandchildren; three sisters: Lavonne Edwards, Rebecca Wartenbe, and Lorraine Jones; and two brothers: Steve Lewis and Randall Lewis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Laverne.

Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
