Ronald Lee Morris, age 79, of Colp, IL, died at 11:09 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL. He was born August 24, 1936 in Creal Springs, IL, the son of the late Glenn and Mary (Craig) Morris. He is survived by two sons: Jeffrey (Jean) Morris of Herrin and Michael G. (Helen) Morris of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren; and two sisters: Rebecca (Gary) Motta of Morton, IL and Jeannie Rade of Decatur, IL. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three daughters: Amy Jiminez, Leannn Morris and Melanie Morris; and two sisters: Glenna Strotheide and Ruth Richmond.

According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and private services will be held.
